The RG Academy® is managed by Robertson Geo Services (RGS) with all training conducted by experienced RGS logging engineers who are still actively logging in the field, ensuring all information provided reflects the latest and best industry practice.
Based at the company headquarters in Tre Morfa, North Wales, the RG Academy® has access to the facilities of our Borehole Testing and Calibration Centre and a large ultra-modern classroom. Training can also be conducted anywhere worldwide at a customer’s chosen location or interactively online. RG Academy® training is available for all sales and rental customers and is routinely included as part of sales commissioning.
A modular approach to training materials allows training programmes to be tailored to the customers equipment and engineers’ experience. A typical training programme would include probe theory, calibration, maintenance, borehole setup, logging basics, safety, quality control and data processing.
Upon completion of training, industry recognised certificates will be issued to all attendees. This certified accreditation from the RG Academy® demonstrates to clients that engineers have undergone the training necessary to be fully competent with all aspects of achieving consistently high-quality data and can work safely and efficiently.
