Robertson Geo offers operational training for winch use, probe deployment, logging techniques, data capture, and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

These Training schedules are flexible (from three to five days) and customised, depending on the experience levels and focus of attendees.

Operational Training by expert field personnel: Training certificates and electronic copies of manuals and test data are provided and whilst it is preferable that training is undertaken at the Deganwy calibration and test well facility, training can also be conducted at the customers’ site, including international locations.

  • Repeat above processes with various tools to build client confidence

Tool Calibration and User Functions

  • Basic tools calibration procedures
  • Field test jigs
  • User Functions

DAY THREE

Basic Logging Process

  • Basic Log processing and presentation based on equipment purchased*
  • Data merging
  • Data Export
  • PDF Conversion
  • Additional days training are recommended for some log processing packages.

General Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Basic tools and winch maintenance
  • Cablehead checks and remaking
  • Basic fault finding routines

Courses can be tailored to suit clients experience and needs.

Training involving radioactive sources will be undertaken by Robertson Geo’s qualified trainers.

Whilst general Health & Safety tips are provided, clients should refer to their local rules and company policy’s.
